Kourtney Preaus, RDN, LD

Meet the woman behind the mission, Kourtney was a multisport athlete all of her childhood which eventually earned her a college scholarship to play softball where she met her husband Luke Preaus. Kourtney initially pursued a career in dentistry where worked and learned valuable skills for 4+ years. Shortly, after marrying Luke she began pursuing her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. During her degree plan Luke and Kourtney welcomed their baby girl Hollis Pine. Kourtney's passion for nutrition, fitness, and food has always been something she yearns to share with others. She loves cooking from scratch, getting in the gym and lifting heavy, getting outside, playing with her dogs,  watching her daughter grow, and building a life with her husband Luke.

Why I Do What I Do

We live in a world full of information and choices. Everyday people are being diagnosed with new diseases that could have been fully prevented with some simple lifestyle changes. Poor food choices and lack of exercise are simply problems we no longer have the luxury of defaulting to. Some may feel they will lose their freedom by embracing a healthier lifestyle, but I believe true freedom comes from making that healthier lifestyle part of your identity.

The Mission

My mission is to help individuals and families create a culture of wellness in their lives.

I help people to feel their best by teaching them prepare nourishing yet delicious foods and find ways to incorporate physical activity into everyday life. Programing these skills into a family's DNA is my passion. Healing from the inside out and preventing chronic diseases is something we all should be tapping into.

Our Philosophy

I truly believe cooking is a lost art and I am passionate about helping people fall in love with creating in the kitchen. Whole natural foods are always first in my book, so it's time we learn to work with them in a approachable way.  I also feel strongly that muscle is the key to a healthier future. My practice is centered around gaining and/or maintaining muscle and the nutrition to support that goal. Together we will get you comfortable in the kitchen and the gym while learning some new skills along the way.

Your health doesn't seem to matter until you don't have it, then it becomes the only thing that matters
